Commonly used in the dairy, beverage and brewing industry, this gasket can be found in sections of pipework that are regularly disassembled for cleaning. 

Gaskets manufactured from EPDM are highly resistant to hot water and steam. Ethylene propylene rubber has a temperature range of -50°C to +120°/150°C (-60°F to +250°/300°F)

Gaskets manufactured from PTFE are made of synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene consisting completely of carbon and fluorine. It is innately hydrophobic (repelling water and water-containing substances) and has one of the lowest coefficients of friction against any solid.

PTFE has excellent dielectric properties and provides excellent thermal insulation with an operating temperature range of -200°C to 260°C. (-328°F to +500°F) PTFE is the most chemically resistant plastic known and is unaffected by most corrosive liquids, vapours, and gases

PTFE gasket products provide outstanding chemical resistance for duties where hygiene and non-contamination are essential.
